Carlos Mora-Ninci
My name is Carlos Mora-Ninci and I sign Mora.
Creator of over 100 works of artand growing every day. Including the above mentioned Award winning works in Plein Air competitions at the strongly competitive fine-artist’ province of Cordoba, Argentina.
Tajamar is an old Jesuit Reservoir where I grew up as a small child until age 13.
The Sierras rarely have snow in Spring day, the hills is where I lived half my life.
The mountain rivers are getting drier every year, in serious danger.
The live shade of an artist at work in an burgeoin artists’ community.
The other half of my life I was carrying out the deep familial mandate of studying (six generations of University graduates might be a world record!!) in Colorado and California, where I earned three university degrees in Letters (BA), English Linguistics (Master of Arts from Univ. of Colorado at Boulder where I lived five years) and Latino Studies and Education, Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles (where I lived seven years).
I held a full professorship job of social studies until I resigned to work entirely in my fine-art and move up to an isolated paraje of Santa Monica, Calamuchita, Cordoba Province, Argentina, where I am now.
I was born in Argentina, in an Italian background family from Firenze. Naturalized American.
Lover of Art and Painter since childhood thanks to my mother Ninci.
Haunted by fine-art paintings and museums around the world.
